Recognizing and Responding to Behavioral and Mental Health Crises

What to Do...Who to Call

Wednesday, June 23

7:00-8:30pm in the Upper Hall (and via live-stream HERE)

One in five of us suffers from some form of mental illness.  Substance misuse and mental illness are on the rise. So how can we mitigate these threats to our good health and the health of our community?

This seminar will offer practical information to help you:

  • Be more aware of potential behavioral and mental health crises
  • Know what to do and who to call when needed

Our presentation is open to adults and youth, and will include plenty of time for questions.

Led by Jen Corbin, director of AA County’s Mental Health Agency Crisis Response Services.

Joined by Lt. Thomas of the AA County Police Department, representing their Critical Intervention Team.  Our county’s Crisis Response Team has been recognized internationally for best in class services.
