CHILD AND YOUTH PROTECTION POLICY REQUIREMENTS FOR VOLUNTEERS
Thank you for your interest in serving as a volunteer at St Andrew by the Bay. The Archdiocese of Baltimore and St. Andrew by the Bay parish are committed to providing a safe environment for children and youth. All volunteers at a parish or school in the Archdiocese of Baltimore must register online at VIRTUS. If you have previously completed STAND training, an auto-generated account may have been created for you in Virtus. Please contact the parish office for assistance with logging into your account.
Volunteers (18 years of age or older)
With Substantial Contact With Children

Volunteers for the below ministries must register as having substantial contact with children:

Catechists
Catechist Aides
Cherub Choir Leader
Child Care Volunteers
Children’s Choir Leader
CLOW Ministers
Family Liturgy Ministers
Hospitality Committee Members
Knights of Columbus Event Volunteers
Library Volunteers
Middle School Choir Leader
Office Volunteers
Sacristans
Scout Leaders
Walking With Purpose Childcare
