About our Program

“Go therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, until the end of the age.” Mt. 28:19-20

The foundation and direction of our Children’s Ministry here at St. Andrew by the Bay is led by these words in the Gospel of Matthew.  We strive to follow God’s calling to nurture our children into disciples by providing them a loving and joyful environment to learn and grow in their Catholic Faith.  Our catechists lovingly support the children during their formation to encourage them to have a personal relationship with Christ.  We are dedicated to empowering and inspiring parents to join us in their child’s faith formation as spiritual leaders in their homes and the first teachers of the faith for their children.  In this community of disciples consisting of parents and catechists, our children get to experience discipleship themselves.
