A SERVICE TO REMEMBER THE UNBORN, AND INFANTS AND CHILDREN WHO HAVE DIED
Yearly, the Respect Life Committee of St. Andrew by the Bay sponsors a service near the Feast Day of the Holy Innocents to remember the death of the unborn, those children lost at childbirth, or the death of young children. Often, families are left to deal with such a tragic loss alone. People around them aren’t sure how to offer help. As the years go along, the pain and loss remain. We offer this brief service as a way to offer our support, and that of the Parish Community. It is a service of solitude, remembrance, and to remind us that one day we will be together with those who we have lost. We encourage all parishioners to attend. We especially invite those who have lost children. We welcome everyone, Catholic or not, parishioner or not.
