Gabriel Network Baby Bottle Campaign

At the bottom of the driveway leading up to our parish there is a sign offering women facing an unplanned or crisis pregnancy a phone number to call.  It mentions the Gabriel Network.  We see it so often we usually don’t think about it.  What is the Gabriel Network?

Gabriel Network serves local women through pregnancy and beyond, so that no woman has to face a pregnancy alone or afraid.  For 25 years, Gabriel Network has empowered a committed network of Christian churches to “adopt” pregnant mothers and families in need by providing practical, emotional, and spiritual support through a helpline, three loving maternity homes, and a network of Church-based volunteer teams called Angel Friends.

The RESPECT LIFE committee of St, Andrew by the Bay will again be hosting a Baby Bottle Campaign for Gabriel Network beginning the weekend of October 3rd and 4th.  This year, Gabriel Network has adopted a virtual Baby Bottle Campaign platform.  You can contribute at www.justgiving.com/campaign/standrewbythebay, by sending a check made out to “Gabriel Network” to PO Box 2116, Bowie, MD. 20718 (please mention St. Andrew in the memo line), or making a donation at the two tables at the exits of the church after Mass on 10/3&4.

The parishioners of St. Andrew have been huge supporters of The Gabriel Network and their message of love and support.  Our goal is to raise $5,000 to help serve the mothers and families who call for help.  Our virtual campaign will run for approximately 2 weeks.

As always, thank you for your generosity.
