MISSION: Parish volunteers provide and serve lunch at My Sister’s Place Women’s’ Canter, a Catholic Charities day shelter and resource center in Baltimore MD for women and children experiencing homelessness and poverty.
Members prepare frozen casseroles at home during the cold months and salads during the summer and place them in the Parish Center freezer or refrigerator. On the 2nd Monday of each month, 8-10 of our committee members take the food to My Sister’s Place and serve the lunch. There are no meetings to attend and no special talents needed. Just follow the provided recipes. Parishioners can volunteer to prepare food and/or help serve lunch on a monthly or occasional basis. This is an excellent ministry for families.
