What We Do:
- Introduce guests to our parish and help new people get connected.
- Answer all kinds of questions!
- Help parishioners get connected to our community and our Catholic Faith through all of the Ministries and Activities available here at SABB!
- Our Ministry serves before and after every Mass at the Welcome Desk in the gathering space of the church. Our Welcome Ministers' warm welcoming smiles, along with their knowledge of Parish happenings, create an important point of connection and a great place for ministry outreach.
Training:
Each Welcome Minister is trained ahead of time, partnered with another Welcome Minister to serve, and also provided information weekly. A Welcome Minister takes turns serving at the desk before and after Mass, a few times a month.
