Could God be calling you to use your gifts of an engaging speaking voice and a love of scripture to proclaim His word at Mass? Lectors are the human vehicle through which God speaks to us at Mass. Your most important preparation to serve is to read and meditate on the scripture in the week before you serve.
The lector ministry is an opportunity to become more engaged in the St. Andrew by the Bay community on a schedule that works for you. You select which Masses you are available and willing to serve. We provide training, you make a commitment you are comfortable with and the Holy Spirit will bear the fruit.
