Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion share the Body and Blood of Christ with fellow parishioners during parish liturgies, as well as taking communion to those confined to their homes or nursing facilities. Extraordinary Ministers must be parishioners who are confirmed and actively practicing their faith and willing to participate in a training session and ongoing formation.
