The Parent Ministry at SABB supports the spiritual growth of the families within our parish, by offering a small group study with an approach based on Sacred Scripture and Sacred Tradition. Participants are led through discussions regarding Catholic parenting, reflecting on their own experiences, their desire for their children’s spirituality, and exploring material from the catechism and papal documents. A sense of community and friendship develops throughout the year as parents’ journey alongside each other in their faith. Childcare is provided and the time commitment is twice a month with no preparation at home. Participation, including childcare, is free and available for any parents with children in elementary school or younger (including new and single parents). The year concludes with a retreat held in the sacred space of the Shrine of St. Anthony to celebrate our time together and reflect on the spiritual growth that has blessed everyone that year.
