Unity Bands Launches to Support COVID-19 Response and Research

St. Andrew by the Bay community,

Fr. Andrew talked about Unity Bands at Mass on January 17th.  We are an all-volunteer nonprofit project designed to support COVID-19 response and research efforts and to improve community morale during the pandemic. All proceeds raised from the sale of these customized wristbands (unitybands.org/order) benefit the University of Maryland Medical Center’s COVID-19 response efforts and the University of Maryland School of Medicine’s research efforts.

On Sunday, February 7, Unity Bands will hold its first promotional event. “Super Sunday” is a virtual event which will be hosted on the Unity Bands Facebook page, coinciding with the big football game. The goal is to make a big splash with donations to the Unity Bands causes. There will be a pregame show at 11:00 a.m. ET, plus hourly videos with interviews and new donation goals. Set your electronic device, “Remind me to check out facebook.com/unitybandsorg on February 7th at 11AM.”
